I, am, a, A sight word flash cards
You will receive a .pdf file containing 3 styles of the same INSECT SIGHT WORD READER. Two have been designed to print in colour and one in black and white.
HOW TO USE:
Simply print the pages.
Fold the cover of the large A5 teacher book and cut the three A4 sheets in half to make the six inside pages. Insert the pages into the cover and staple. I add a strip of adhesive contact or tape to the outside spine to cover the staples and give the book a bit of protection. Use this book as a read aloud modelled reading book. After you have shared the book together, place it in your classroom library corner.
Reproduce the black and white mini book page for your children to colour and make their own personal insect sight word reader. This little book can then be read over and over and proudly shared with others.
I use the colour version of the mini book to model to the children how to cut and compile the little sight word reading book. They think it’s magic to see the colour version of their black and white copy!
Laminate and cut the sight word sheet to make sight word flash cards. Use these to play games and practise the sight words.
