Teach rhyming with this fun PowerPoint. Children will identify rhyming words and non-rhyming words. They will learn rhyming words have the same ending sound as each pair of rhyming words presented are from the same word family.

Each slide shows two pictures, if they rhyme, the children put their thumbs up. If they don’t rhyme, they put their thumbs down.

The second slide in the sequence is a self-correcting slide telling the children: YES—they have the same ending sound or No— they do not have the same ending sound.
