Children place the missing numbered disc onto the blank space on each card in order to complete the counting sequence.

These missing number cards contain all the number combinations from 0 to 20 in both the forwards and backwards counting sequences.

The numerals in this resources are in the Queensland Beginner’s Font.

This resource has been designed to be printed onto A4 paper or card. Each A4 sheet contains 4 missing number cards.

I use these cards in both my Prep and Year 1 classroom.

I purchased some small natural wood slices and wrote the numerals 0-20 with a permanent marker onto some of the discs. You can make your own discs by sawing slices from a tree branch and then sanding them.

I have included photos of single discs with the numerals 0-20 in this resource. These can be printed, cut out and used instead of the natural wood slices if you prefer.
